“For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Well, yeah. Or sixty seconds of sadness, banal sameness, or high anxiety. For every minute you are existing, you are either happy or something else. What a load of motivational hippie-dippy bullshit.

It’s all in the slant. The spin of words and phrases flailing through the noosphere, coalescing into big ideas and heartfelt gestures. But don’t pass it on. Suck up that good will like a vacuum and store it up for a bad day. Bad days always coincide with having to clean the vacuum. Weird how that works out.

Anger is a gift. If there were no anger, there’d be nothing to make the peace have meaning. Fuck you, Ralph Waldo Emerson. Go climb a tree and write endless prose about everything that climbing a tree wasn’t. Not everything has to be transcendental. Not everything has to have a meaning. Sometimes a broken object is art itself.

Well, hello there.

I hope you are doing well.

This is me updating my old stupid website. I updated the “About Me” and “Statement of Intent” pages because I originally wrote them two years ago and frankly, some editing needed to be done. And some padding. Both are way too many words for anyone with an internet-sized attention span.

I plan on typing more words into these boxes before too long. I realize I’ve been squandering my school years instead of writing anything. But those years are soon to be at an end, and I probably should spending more time glued to a chair writing about whatever possible in order to quickly develop Carpel Tunnel so I can get some good pills. …so I can continue writing. Catch-22, that.

Anyhow, I’ve started a new blog, which I also haven’t really bothered too much with. But I am working on content, just trying to stagger everything so there aren’t huge swaths of time where there is no new content. However, I am not doing any such thing with this blog. This blog will be updated again sometime before the end of all takes us in its dark wings.
